My Cosmic Cells paintings envision the potential of humanity’s cellular evolution, portraying a profound transformation at the microscopic level that reflects our collective journey toward a brighter future.

In a world grappling with ongoing wars, climate crisis-induced disasters, and divisive politics, humanity teeters on the edge of its own survival. Yet, amidst these challenges, I hold onto the hope that we are undergoing an evolutionary shift—one that adapts not just to our changing planet, but also fosters greater compassion, empathy, and unity on a cellular level.

This cellular evolution symbolizes the human race’s capacity to transcend self-destructive tendencies, to unite in altering the course of the climate crisis, and to rebuild communities where mutual understanding and compassion take precedence—for one another and for the environment. Through the transformation of even the smallest cell, a profound ripple effect emerges, inspiring collective action and hope. ( It helps us alter our communities to make compassion and mutual understanding paramount, both for one another and the environment through the evolution of one little cell at a time.)

Can you feel it? This transformation is happening right now.

Then I flipped the acetate over to start using my #neocolor2 crayons to draw in the art seemingly backwards. After painting for so long, I forgot how tedious it is to fill in large areas by crayon!!It's taking a while but I'm almost ready to print this piece!#originalart #makeartnotwar #printmakingforthepeople
