Painting (and art making in general) is usually su Painting (and art making in general) is usually such a solitary activity, I forget how fun and inspiring it is to paint along aside other artists!Last weekend I got to participate in my first ever #MuralJam at the Cummer Park Community Centre skatepark and paint amongst some of my mural/graffiti heroes 😍 The artist roster was comprised of literal giants from the outdoor art community and it was a little intimidating but so so inspirational!!I was assigned a pyramid ramp to paint and who do I get to paint next to, but legendary muralist, Bareket @bkez!!Being the mural pro that she is, when she arrived she altered her original design to incorporate my colour and some of my design elements into her piece so that our murals would flow into each other 🥹Still revelling from the awesome vibes of that weekend 💜Again, a huge thank you to Jetr & Jieun (@just.jetr and @junekima.rt) for inviting me to this project and to @start_streetartoronto for the opportunity!!Also a thank you shoutout goes to @blondyshana for introducing me to Bareket about a year ago!!#murals #skatepark #outdoorart #canadianart

I painted my first ever skate park ramp and covere I painted my first ever skate park ramp and covered it with my #CosmicCells; this time I painted neurons, neural parhways and networks to represent growth through adaptation, persistence and learning.Thank you to Jieun @junekima.rt, Jetr @just.jetr and @start_streetartoronto for this amazing opportunity ✨️I had so much fun but also did my own learning and growing too!#muraljam #skatepark #muralpainting #cellbiology
I had the true pleasure to participate in my first I had the true pleasure to participate in my first ever skatepark mural jam, thanks to @start_streetartoronto and co-curator/organizers @junekima.rt and @just.jetr 🖌🎨The theme was growth through persistance, adaptation and the willingness to embrace change. What better way to represent growth through neuroplasticity with my #cosmiccells? Here I've painted cosmic neurons, neural pathways and neural networks!#muraljam #outdoorart #murals #muralsdaily
